Parvati

 This is actually a Marathi one act musical play portraying the meeting of Shankara, in disguise of a young bachelor and Parvati, as depicted in Sanskrit Mahakavya Kumarasambhava of Kalidas. Hira Shobhala Kondani is a three-act musical play in Marathi. It is a free rendering of the English play “Much Ado about nothing” of Shakespeare and was the first ever-musical play from Nagpur in the Marathi Musical Plays Contest instituted by Maharashtra Govt.Damayanti-Swayamvara is also a musical three-act play in Marathi, a scene of which was played by a Bombay amateur group in the Sangeet Ekankika Spardha (Competition of Musical one-act Plays) in Mumbai under the joint auspices of “Kaumudi” and Ranga-Sharada Pratishtana in 1984, and one of the ladies who played the part of Kaumudi, Damayant’s friend, received a prize for acting therein.
